Hope you had a good flight! I love sea urchin / uni but its quite rare to see for sale here. Best way I've actually had it was with burrata in Los Angeles: https://www.rachelphipps.com/2015/06/places-to-eat-in-los-angeles-son-of-gun.html

Thanks, Rachel! The whole travel process was luckily very smooth, and I’m hoping it’s that easy on the way back haha. I love your description of the uni in the post that you linked. That restaurant looks fantastic!

I don’t know if I could eat sea urchin but maybe I’ll try who knows!

I don’t know how easy it would be to find near you, but definitely the next time you’re in Madrid!

Oh, oh!! I have never, never tried "el erizo de mar", ¡Me da asco!! But if you say it's as bad... well... why not giving it a try? Great post, Kiki! 😃👏👏

Thanks, Ángeles! I don’t blame you; I was very skeptical at first (the sound when David was cutting it open was also unappetizing 🫣). I think it’s worth trying, though, if you get a chance. Especially if you like seafood!

¡Definitivamente! I'll give it a try as I do love seafood! Same thing happened to me with clams and now I love them!
